Alhamdulillah n Tq Allah! I am already 39 years old. Let us grow old fabulously. Just to share Janet Maccaro’s view on Aging (source of book: Natural Health Remedies)
Definition:
Aging is the process by which the body matures and grows old or shows signs of growing old that continues throughout the span of life. It is caused by a breakdown in the replacement process of cells that are continually dying.
Dietary considerations:
Good nutrition is the key to adding years to your life and life to your years. Here are some of the best all-time longevity SUPERFOODs as well as those you need to avoid!
First priority is to DRINK PLENTY OF PURE WATER every day. This will keep you HYDRATED and help all of your body’s systems to work more efficiently. In addition, water will help PROPER ELIMINATION, REMOVE TOXINS AND LESSEN ARTHRITIC PAIN. It also helps to TRANSPORT PROTEINS< VITAMINS< MINERALS AND SUGAR FOR ASSIMILATION. Water helps the body work at its peak.
Eat FRESH SEAFOOD at least twice weekly for THYROID health and balance. NUTS, SEEDS, BEANS, FIBER and ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS are living nutrients. Enjoy FRESH FOODS and VEGETABLES- enzymes rich and full of vitamins, minerals and fiber.
Practice CALORIC REDUCTION. As you age, your body requires fewer calories and also burns calories at a lower rate. In addition, a low calorie diet has been shown to protect your DNA from damage. They will thereby prevent organ and tissue degeneration. Try to get more “bang for your caloric buck” by eating only HIGH QUALITY, densely NUTRITIOUS foods for each meal. For example, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, ORGANICALLY GROWN if possible.
